Driftwood Quintet Album Announcement | El Tango Nuevo: Ángeles y Diablos

Driftwood Quintet has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund our upcoming album, El Tango Nuevo: Ángeles y Diablos, an 8-track reimagining of Astor Piazzolla’s music arranged for reed quintet and accordion. We’re partnering with award-winning accordionist Gabe Hall-Rodrigues and recording with Grammy-nominated engineer Clarke Rigsby (Tempest Studios). The album tells a powerful story of angels, demons, a fight through hell, and resurrection in Buenos Aires. Supporters can help bring Driftwood’s first-ever vinyl release to life while receiving rewards ranging from discounted digital downloads to merch and handcrafted items.
